The Zaccheras were a family of fishermen from Baveno, a picturesque village on Lake Maggiore. They carried out their activities when Napoleon was staying at Villa Borromeo after his battles in Italy. Today their hotels in Baveno and Stresa rank among the most prestigious in Lake Maggiore, a constant destination for tourists from all over the world.

This is also a fundamental business system for the promotion of the region. It is a unique landscape to be discovered without haste: the calm of the lake, the mountains reflected in the water, the wind that caresses the birds in flight, historic homes, and islands lulled by a mild climate that allows citrus fruits to ripen at the foot of the Alps.
