The adventure within this book may be a real one the author went on in her youth but that doesn't mean it's not a fun one. There has been limited editing to keep the authenticity of the original journal written while on holiday. The idea was to share this journey with the family but others expressed a desire to read it so it's gone wide. There is a mention of cancer, sickness and treatment but it is not tha main point of the story. The format is journal entry with hand-drawn images but don't let that scare you away from the adventure that awaits.
