How do you fix a broken heart? If you're a stoic, tall Scandinavian named Ronald Ragvald—a brilliant, multilingual translator and frequent script editor—you retreat to your garage and obsessively stare at a dismantled motorcycle transmission. But if your best friend is Peter Peppard—a manic, cynical Hollywood screenwriter with a squatter on his lawn and a desperately fragile ego—you get dragged into a fifty-million-dollar nightmare.
