Date: Two hours after the battle at the Last Doubloon

I thought last week was bad, but it turns out a mutiny is a picnic compared to an evil wizard magically kidnapping my best friend Val. A mutiny is a normal occupational hazard for a pirate. Evil wizards? That's new. 

To rescue Val, I have to sail into the heart of Kill Magpie Flint territory: Port Elizabeth, the local bastion of so-called 'civilised society'. All my enemies are waiting for me and I'm going to make them pay for taking Val. 

I now have four hot men in my cabin, and I still can't get any action. My prisoner, Commodore St Stephen, has stopped wanting me dead but I can't convince him that lawlessness isn't contagious. Then there's Lysander, a slippery sorcerer who once haunted my ship and whose loyalties I can't predict.  My complicated ex, Captain Dauntless, is under a curse and now turns into a parrot at the most inopportune moments. And I can't forget the dashing Sebastian, the hottest bordello worker in the Caribbean, whose secrets are darker than I could have guessed.

Being a pirate was supposed to be a simple life. I don't need much to be happy: glory, gold, rum and finally getting some action from one or all of these men... who am I kidding, at this point, I might  just settle for surviving.
