Prey of the Demon

Jana went to her recent ex's wedding. He had broken her heart and they were callous enough to make sure that she attended her wedding. However, the events that followed were not a part of the original plan by any means. The Bride, Tara, somehow managed to poison Jana with her last drink at the wedding. The poison was her own blood. A demon's blood. She had done everything at that point to hurt Jana as much as she could and then her last mission was to kill her.
Enter a fair and handsome Angel. Not only an angel but one of the most powerful ones that was there to make sure to witness the demon and see what she was really up to. He saw the young woman start to stumble and he was called to help her.
That was when he had a choice. He could save her life of he could walk away. If he saved her, he would be tied to her for the rest of his existence. Even when she died. He knew that he really didn't have a choice and he gave her a few drops of his own blood forever tying the two.
Jana woke up and was confused but as they worked together the two found they did like each other. They could be tied for their lives but they were going to make a relationship between them work. They also knew they had to figure out what Carisska, aka Tara, was really up to. When they did Jana's whole life spiraled out of control with only the angel holding her together.
