Princess Sighing Dove's Perilous Journey

Princess Sighing Dove, an adolescent Native American, was unable to sense joy, even long after her mother died only days after her birth. The burden of grief in the loss of the mother was very great for both father and daughter; it even threatened the unity of their tribe.
