But the romance does not last.

In the midst of the heartbreak he makes a real connection with some of the most powerful entities in the CIA and he returns to the fold completely, and in the midst of a crisis within national security those watching over him start to see what he is capable of as he leads hostile intelligence agencies on a worldwide trail of subterfuge to protect one of the CIA's own.

Raven is revealed as an incredible human. But betrayal and pain is never far away until he makes a connection based on choices and actions. He finally finds stability with someone who chooses him despite her own fears.
