Love in the City of Flowers

Many believe that for one of the world's most famous works of art, The Birth of Venus, the woman that served as the model was the most beautiful woman of the Renaissance, Simonetta Vespucci, a married noblewoman. But the fact that she had died years before Sandro Botticelli created his masterpiece makes others doubt it. Many also believe that Botticelli suffered from an unrequited love for Simonetta Vespucci. In this romantic but tragic story, I give my own version of what might have happened then, some hundreds of years ago, in the beautiful Renaissance city of Florence.
