Far from a sentimental homecoming, the elder Kovács brings with him a penchant for pálinka, a stubborn refusal to follow modern protocols, and the shocking revelation that Bendegúz's mother is still trapped on another ship across a dimensional gate.

Guided by the supernatural intuitions of the young Jancsi Star—a child who functions as a literal cosmic compass—the crew navigates through a series of increasingly bizarre encounters:

The Rescue of "French Jóska": A boarding mission to a derelict French freighter results in the rescue of a legionnaire-turned-cook and a brutal battle with three-headed space lizards.

The Guardian of the Gate: As they reach the event horizon, a mysterious entity named Sándor appears, demanding philosophical answers and a specific "scone baked in embers" before allowing the ship to pass.
