Mindy is a rich girl. Her boyfriend Tristan comes from one of the wealthiest black families in the state. Mindy hopes that they can get married and become one of the most powerful African-American couples in the south. Marriage scares Tristan, however, and he backs out of the relationship.
But when Mindy's family business goes south she is forced to find work. She finds a job as a maid for Tristan's mother. Tristan finally returns home and seeks reconciliation. But can Mindy forgive him?
