One day, after a particularly grueling day at school, I took a shortcut home through the woods. It was a path that few people knew about. Walking deeper into the woods, I heard a rustling in the bushes. Wild animals were known to live in this part of the forest, and I hoped it wasn't one of them coming out to hunt me down. But then I saw what looked like a beast.
It was massive, with shaggy fur and sharp, pointed teeth. It growled at me, and my fear turned to panic as I realized it was getting closer. I stumbled back, my heart racing, my mind filled with terror. My thoughts raced as I tried to figure out what to do. Should I run? Should I stay still?
