There is nothing more beautiful than a handmade babies cardigan. This cardigan is perfect for beginners, The shell stitch defiantly makes the design pop. The pattern size can be varied depending upon hook size used. This would make the perfect new baby / baby shower gift. I even think this would make a lovely christening cardigan. Remember the cardigan can be made in any colour.
To make this you will need:
DK yarn in colour of choice
4mm crochet hook
Embroidery needle and scissors
Will fit 3-6 months. To make a smaller fit use a 3.5mm crochet hook, alternatively for a bigger fit use a 4.5mm hook.
Finished Size:
Cardigan:
Collar to bottom – 11"
Sleeve length (underarm to cuff) – 6"
Under arm to under arm – 10.5"
Skill level - easy - intermediate.
