A solar flare rips open the veil of reality and sets a collision course with destruction.
The year is 3001, and Dr. Leigh Lybrand is excited to leave Earth to establish humanity off-earth. She kisses her fiancé goodbye, promising to return with a solid career and enough money to sustain them forever. Forever is cut short when a solar flare wipes out Earth as she and her colleagues arrive on the Jovan Station.
