"Sketch of Handel and Beethoven" are the two lectures prepared by the author for the discussion in "The Wimbledon Village Club." The purpose of the club was the education of the working class. In the evenings, people from the neighborhood were invited to join interesting reading, conversations, and thought exchanges on different topics – from politics to art. These two lectures were created for discussion in the Wimbledon Club.
