The setting is a small river city called Bongwater On The Mississippi, which is theoretically across the river from Mark Twain's boyhood home. Times have changed, but people are similar. We follow the lives of the Gimplet Triplets, Crazy Carbone, The Southside Gang, The River Rats, The Streaks, and their associates and adversaries.
