Stronger Because of It is a woman's journal on her spiritual journey with Lupus. It is a dedication to finding purpose in our suffering. When Laura was first diagnosed with Lupus, it was also the very same day that one of her patients had died from the same disease. Afraid and searching for answers, she turned to her faith. Despite dealing with the grief and loss of her former career, Laura refused to give up. She pursued her love for meditation and fitness through boxing, Qigong, Reiki, and Tai Chi. With daily practices, she has found gratitude in even the smallest moments. This is a story of a woman's spiritual journey while juggling with the very real physical struggles that come with chronic illness.
