But when he was offered a job at Harvard, he took it. #4 Alpert was a professor at Harvard, and he had a close friendship with one of his students, Jim Fadiman. Fadiman was a virgin, and he didn’t think of himself as either heterosexual or homosexual. But his roommate seemed to be interested in all of those things.
