They will regularly find themselves in unpleasant, difficult, and painful places, ones they would never choose to be in themselves. #3 We must learn to relinquish our expectations of the journey, and accept that what God provides is all we need. We must also realize that the darkness is not a place to fear, but something that the Shepherd uses to mature us. #4 The Shepherd is always present, even in the dark valleys. He leads us through the fields of green grass, and even into the dark valleys. He is always with us, and we can trust in His care.
