We want to be the authority on who God is or isn’t and what’s right or wrong, but we want the mask of religion or spirituality to cover up the I-wanna-be-God reality. #4 God has to reveal himself to us, and this is usually done through a surprise twist in the story. The Bible is a story about God and how we as people relate to him.
