I was the last of my parents’ four children, and I was three when they began moving us back and forth across several continents, all in conjunction with my father’s work. #3 My father was a disciplinarian, but he was also making sure I used my brain and learned about structure and accountability. He was helping me analyze what I was doing and why. #4 I had a difficult time adjusting to college life. I was always late to class, and when I did get there, I would never get any work done. I was constantly distracted by my inability to focus. Eventually, my professors diagnosed me with dyslexia.
