Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 I was 14 when I visited my aunt’s house in Wisconsin. I was playing with Jay, her son, and his friends, when I learned how to wakeboard. I was warned not to come over anymore, as Jay did not want to play with me anymore. #2 I was not an academic, and I loved sports, drums, and getting the hell out of my house. My parents were strict, and I had to be perfect. I was also forced to go to church. #3 I have learned over the years to be secretive and never share my cares and desires with anyone in my family, so that they can’t be scoffed at or laughed at. I like to think that with retrospect, my parents will wish they had raised me differently. #4 I was a defensive end, offensive right tackle, kickoff returner, punt returner, punter, and kicker in eighth grade. I was always out for blood in sports, and I played to stay out of trouble in school and off the streets.
