I was raised by two endearing mental health professionals who were influenced by the social climate and political activism of the 1960s and early 1970s. I was one of only two girls in my kindergarten class. #2 I had always been taught the importance of making the world a better place, and I found that pursuing a career in acting could give me that platform. I graduated from university in Montreal with a BFA in theater in 2000. After choosing between psychology and acting, I had landed some great leading TV roles. #3 I met a sweet guy in 2002, and we moved in together. We were always brainstorming ideas for film projects, but I was growing restless. My career felt limited. I decided to meet people who were living their purpose so I could gain some direction in finding mine. #4 I had been looking for a way to connect with people who would help me find my purpose, and the chance to do good and work with Mark seemed just what I had been looking for.
