Syros the binary

 Syros, the binary is a book that should be read at the end of a vacation. It is not a guidebook; it resembles more the notes you might find in your notebook at the end of a stay. It is not a text to be consulted; it should be read to rediscover the ideas gathered while wandering up and down the island, and during the evenings when you sat just breathing in the sea.  Probably—surely, in fact—you would write something different from the texts I have gathered, but we would nevertheless share the desire to take possession of these places to make them into something different from a tourist destination identical to a hundred others.
