It involves a young US Air Force Security Police officer and his attempt to solve a massive Thai-operated theft ring on the base. The novel concludes with the protagonist being re-assigned to the USA and then the mystery is solved in an dramatically unexpected way in a final denouement back at U-Tapao five years later.
