"Hi," I said, suddenly breathless.
"Hi," Ira said.
"It is good to finally see all of you," I said.
Ira nodded. "It is good to be able to speak to you. I feel like I have so much to say, but every time I look into your eyes, the words leave me."
"Oh, then maybe you should close your eyes to talk to me," I said, feeling a blush rise up.
I could clearly see the look in his eyes, as if he didn't care for soup and only wanted me as his next meal. I remembered how his lips felt on mine, how he tasted, and I wanted to experience all of that again, and again until all I could feel was him. 
"But I want to see you," Ira said, stretching out his hand and gently caressing my reddened cheek. "All of you."
"I want that too," I said, but my growling stomach redirected the conversation.
