Alice although married had been forced through separation to leave her house and find alternate accommodation, the only place that matched her finances was a student accommodation house that she now shared with a group of others. Alice who was not a student herself and about ten years older than the others often felt as if she did not really belong there and was not part of the student set, to try to 'fit in' and to gain the attention of the others she would often make comments and elaborate on her sexual experiences. Coming from a previously sexless marriage these experiences were non-existent, fictitious recollections that in reality were just from her dreams, sexual desires that never happened or never would.
