descriptif du fournisseur

Harold Finch fixes things. Washing machines, dishwashers, clocks, and anything else that can be understood through careful observation, proper tools, and a complete written record.

Then he inherits a small brass device from his late grandfather—along with a letter explaining that it can send him briefly into the past.

Harold intends to use it once. His goal is modest: erase an embarrassing family story that has followed him since an eighth-grade dance. He identifies the smallest possible intervention, documents his plan, changes one harmless moment, and returns home satisfied that the problem has been repaired.

By morning, his family history has changed.

A photograph contains the wrong relative. Familiar people remember relationships Harold never lived. Official records insist that he occupies several impossible positions on his own family tree—including, somehow, that of his own grandfather. Every attempt to understand the alteration reveals another genealogical consequence, another administrative complication, and another reason that time should never have been treated like a household appliance.

Then the Office of Temporal Consistency contacts him.

The Office has forms, classifications, caseworkers, compliance agreements, and an alarming category called "additional ancestral obligations." Its representatives can document Harold's increasingly tangled lineage, but reversing it is another matter. As Harold becomes an Accidental Anchor—a person whose existence now stabilizes the very paradox he created—he must navigate temporal bureaucracy, rewritten memories, and a family tree that resembles faulty wiring.

The Accidental Anchor launches I'm My Own Grandpa, a time-travel comedy of errors about one reasonable man, one very small change, and the extraordinary paperwork required when cause and effect stop agreeing on who belongs where.
