Long ago, the deities known as Celtic gods chose thirteen of their children born from unions with humans; the children of the gods. Thirteen women and men, powerful warriors and blood mages, who all agreed to become the guardians and protectors of the three worlds: Earth, the Sidhes, and the Realm of Death. To achieve this, they sacrificed their humanity and were transformed into immortals… into legendary bhampair.
However, an evil being succeeded in trapping them, imprisoning them all inside hibernation chambers, and Chaos devastated the three worlds in the year 2026.
After two hundred and ten years of Darkness, a glimmer of hope has finally been rekindled in the hearts of the surviving humans. Because today, a bhampair has awakened… and whispers already claim he may be the fiercest of the thirteen.

Linda Saint Jalmes is a French Celtic author, specializing in fantasy romance inspired by Celtic mythology. She has written numerous novels, including three sagas: The Saga of the Children of the Gods, The Croz Saga, and The Bhampair Saga (dark fantasy with vampire Highlanders).
