Do I care only about myself? Also, yes. So why is it a surprise when I sneak out of the house to find myself a random hookup? Do I wish I hadn't? Of course. But not because I feel guilty for what I did or for the fact that I treated the guy like dirt. I regret my decision because now I have to see my hookup's smug face every day!
