Five friends—Jack, Ken, Daniel, Cheng, and Seoul—were on their way to the wedding party of their close friend. The celebration was being held at a distant place called the Valley of Joy. Since it was far from the city, they decided to take a shortcut through the forest roads to save time.
After a long drive, Jack pulled the car over and stepped out, saying he needed to use the bathroom in the woods. The others waited in the car, chatting and laughing.
But when Jack came back, his laughter froze in his throat.
The car was empty.
