My playlist "Christianity 2: The Image of the Beast" includes the following...

"The Roman Catholic crucifix is an image of a Roman Catholic version of Jesus. A Roman Catholic version of Jesus is a version of Jesus who says Rome leads people to Heaven, who says the Roman Catholic Church is the True Church. It makes no sense to say the Roman Catholic crucifix is an image of an Anglican version of Jesus, or a Russian Orthodox version of Jesus, or a Mormon version of Jesus, or a Pentecostal version of Jesus etc.

So, if Rome leads people to Heaven, if the Roman Catholic Church is God's True Church, then you can trust Rome when she says her crucifix is sacred.

And if Rome is the True Church, then it stands to reason you can trust the Dogma of Papal Infallibility, and again that Dogma says those who reject that Dogma are accursed.

But if Rome is a false church, if Rome is lost in heresy, if Rome leads people to eternal perdition not to Heaven, then the Roman Catholic crucifix is the image of a lie. Again, the Roman Catholic crucifix is the image of a version of Jesus who says Rome leads people to Heaven, so it is the image of a lie if Rome is in fact a false church which drags people down to eternal perdition.

If the Roman Catholic crucifix is the image of a lie, then it becomes a suspect for the image of the beast, the beast being an imposter, a false god, a false version of Christ.

If Christianity is a falsehood, if Jesus is a false god, a bogus Deity, then we Christians are lost in lies.  If CHRISTIANITY IS A LIE THEN...WELL..WE CHRISTIANS ARE LOST IN DELUSION AND CONFUSION.

NOTHING TERRIBLY COMPLICATED SO FAR!

NOW...IF CHRISTIANITY IS TRUE...

NO END OF CHRISTIANS ARE STILL LOST IN DELUSIONS!

WHY?

The scriptures tell us there is only one True Church, yet Christians have created thousands of separate denominations.

EVERY CHURCH CLAIMS IT LEADS PEOPLE TO HEAVEN.

BUT IF LOTS AND LOTS OF CHURCHES ARE FALSE CHURCHES SUNK IN HERESY WHICH LEAD PEOPLE AWAY FROM HEAVEN AND TO ETERNAL PERDITION...

IF A CHURCH LEADS PEOPLE TO HEAVEN, THEN IT IS GOD'S TRUE CHURCH.

IF A CHURCH LEADS PEOPLE AWAY FROM HEAVEN AND TO PERDITION, IT IS A FALSE CHURCH.

REVELATION 20. 12-15 SAYS YOU GET TOSSED INTO A LAKE OF FIRE AT THE LAST JUDGMENT IF YOUR NAME IS NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE.

So you want to get your name written in the Book of Life.

So you want to find the True Church and you want to ESCAPE from every false church sunk in heresy which drags people down to eternal perdition.

PERHAPS GOD WILL HAVE MERCY AND WILL ADMIT INTO HEAVEN SOME PEOPLE WHO WERE LOST IN FALSE CHURCHES.

PERHAPS GOD WILL PULL MANY OR MOST OF THE DAMNED OUT OF THE HELLFIRE EVENTUALLY AND WILL GIVE THEM MORE COMFORTABLE PLACES IN HELL.

PERHAPS PERHAPS.

BUT IF, AS A GENERAL RULE, YOU MUST BE A SAINT IN GOD'S TRUE CHURCH IN ORDER TO ATTAIN HEAVEN AND ESCAPE HELL...

John 6. 53-55 says in so many words that you must partake of Holy Communion in order to attain Heaven and escape eternal perdition.

1 Cor 11. 27-29 says you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner.

For century after century various churches under the cross gave the bread and the wine to evil kings, evil nobles, evil slavemasters...
