Helena Lukasinski is an average woman, who happened to get lost in the Amazon Jungle at the wrong time.
After being abandoned there by her boyfriend - soon-to-be ex-boyfriend - and their tour guide, she stumbles across an Aztec ruin after nearly being eaten by the million mosquitoes inhabiting the jungle and one rather large crocodile.
She doesn't find much luck at the ruin, as she finds herself face-to-face with a very large, very real, dragon.
Drakantos is a very old, very powerful dragon. One who wakes from several centuries of slumber to be presented with a lost and confused woman. He spares her life, only to find out later that they have been linked by ancient magic, one that means they will both have to work together to remove the spell.
