Dannie, a real estate photographer, has a relatively unremarkable life. They live in a small apartment in Chicago, spend as much time as possible with their best friend, and have a hopeless crush on a coworker. Dannie drinks too much and has a fairly boring job. It's not very exciting, even if they sometimes have to deal with unkindness for being nonbinary.
