Magical stories from the ancient past have the power to call our imaginations into deep mystical experiences. With this understanding, we explore ancient Irish legends about a divine tribe, the Tuatha De Dannan, who traveled to four magical cities, and brought back with them four powerful talismans, after being instructed in their use by four Druid teachers.
Through the cooperation of these talismans and our modern spiritual imaginations, this book offers three
approaches for a spiritual practice based on ancient Irish lore. With deep respect for Irish culture and literature, and with intentional honor for our human imagination, the Four Talismans help us explore the deep mystery and Center of who we are. They suggest a way to practice spirituality, to make their insights personal, and to work with them in the transformations of our lives.
