The narrative follows six principal characters across four continents, their stories weaving together and apart as they navigate the transition from a world organized around extraction and control to one slowly learning the grammar of recognition, care, and covenant. But this is not a story of inevitable progress or technological salvation—it is the story of how the material conditions that made Gandhi's Swaraj impossible in 1947 finally aligned with his moral vision in the 2030s, creating what neither pure resistance nor naive submission could achieve.
