The author is also aware of the British secret service, but patriotic motives prevent him from revealing it. The information about counter-espionage measures adopted by other governments is obtained from public sources. In sum, this book aims to educate the public about the dangers posed by the German spy system during World War I and to assist in the defeat of Germany.
