descriptif du fournisseur

The Girl in the Heart is a novel based on an authentic account. The book narrates a life story with a focus on how one is shaped by their parents and becomes entrenched in patterns and traumas. The protagonist, Ida, unconsciously attempts to make herself invisible, thereby limiting herself because the patterns became her worst enemy. The book further details the process of recognizing patterns and strategies, shedding the armor Ida had to don to survive. We learn about how she rediscovered the unspoiled baby, that is, the girl in the heart. It is revealed in the end that Ida's transformation is not only a positive process for herself but also for her mother and their reconciliation.

The narrative unfolds from the 1950s and spans 50 years. In addition to following human development, we also witness some of the historical developments during those years.

"A powerful story that enlightens us about life." Alicja, journalist

"The book provides hope and inspiration because it shows that it is possible to overcome childhood traumas and, most importantly, to reconcile." Lene, social worker

"Readable, well-written, coherent, captivating, and worth reading." Anne, engineer

"A harsh story that leaves an impression and has content that I am sure will interest many." Anders, author

"Easy to read, easy to understand, and a precise depiction of the time." Vibeke, clairvoyant

"The more we share, the closer we come to each other, but also to ourselves. Because in understanding others, we understand ourselves even better. This book is the clearest example of that." Kim, consultant

"A readable book that, besides being serious and inspiring, is also humorous. Looking forward to the continuation." Lars, chef
