Looking at the king's failing health, it might not be long when the king would breathe his last, but dying without a legitimate heir would make Nsuota vulnerable to external threats. Rival kingdoms would seize the opportunity to invade and plunder. And the kingdom itself could descend into chaos as internal power struggles is inevitable to erupt over the coveted throne.
