In "The Great Ice Cream Mystery," a group of friends—Molly Scoop, Benny Sprinkle, Lila Cone, and Sunny Swirl—join shop owner Mr. Frost to investigate why his ice cream machine is producing strange, unusual flavors like Pickle Punch and Peppermint Pickles. As they taste-test the odd creations and examine the humming machine, they discover a faintly glowing pipe leading to a hidden crystal box—a magical gift from a candy-maker. They realize the summer heat has caused the crystal to create wild flavor combinations. By cooling the crystal in snow, they calm the machine and restore normal ice cream just in time for the town's summer festival.
