They are keen to examine some old family papers which are handwritten and also sealed, so that they may try to solve the mystery. The story was published in 1920 in America. Sydney C Greir was the pseudonym of Hilda Caroline Gregg (1868 – 1933) She was an English author who wrote novels and short stories.She published a novel every year until 1925, mostly heroic tales about the adventures of English people in places such as Afghanistan, Baghdad, and India.
