This book was written to help you get out of seeing yourself as a victim. The idea that we are being used is false. No one is forcing us to gainst our own will. We have to dig deeper into why we over sacrifice for others, why we spend so much time trying to save people for the sake of receiving love or any other mundane gratification. Working on my heart allowed me to give and wait to receive, working on strengthening my mind allowed me to remember to also give to myself.
