When Phaedra finds a small house for sale in a quiet subdivision at a price she can afford, she makes an appointment to see it. Before taking the plunge, Phaedra learns the house has a past. It was owned by a missing artist thought deceased. Though the story is eerie, the price is too good to pass up.
Nicknamed "Plastic House", the small home, looks normal on the outside, but the house's outer appearance is deceiving. Phaedra's new home is filled with the artist's abandoned resin art. The hypnotic creations have her entranced, but there's something about the detailed resin pieces that draw her in.
Her neighbor, Mark is the sort of guy she'd like to date. Still, something or someone is disturbing the peace. Who or what is behind it? Above all, who knows what happened to Isla Ocean?
Phaedra is dragged into the mystery when she meets Clarabelle Wilkinson, a retired librarian with a card catalog of clues! The missing artist was Clarabelle's best friend, and she wants to know what happened to her. She misses their days sipping tea, and coping with life's challenges.
Clarabelle worries about Phaedra, and doesn't trust their new neighbor, Mark. With a sharp eye, and attention to detail, Clarabelle tries to put the pieces together. The question is, will Plastic House reveal its secrets?
