In Angel and the Missing Kites, a cheerful town's kites are suddenly swept away by a strong, mischievous wind. Lila Feather, along with her new friends Tommy, Sophie, Benny, Daisy, and Mr. Whistle, sets off on a gentle adventure to find them. They follow clues—ribbons caught on bushes, kites tangled in trees and streams—working together with kindness and patience to rescue each kite.
By speaking gently to the wind and treating it like a playful friend, they coax it into letting the kites go. They return to the town square as heroes, and soon the sky is once again filled with dancing, colorful kites—this time with the wind joining in as a friend, not a thief.
