Lilly is born in Vietnam in 1974 after her African-American serviceman father is sent stateside. She meets him for the first time at 18 months old, when he is finally able to reunite the family. Her mother dies in childbirth of her fifth brother and her father crawls into a bottle. Lilly graduates from the Police Academy in Montrose City, Louisiana at age 21 and soon becomes embroiled in one of the largest drugs-and-guns smuggling rings ever devised.
