Global turmoil marks the start of the twenty-first century. A group of renegades fight to break free from the Australian federation. Against this backdrop, we meet Ally Rose, a French immigrant and "Facilitator" (freelance mercenary). She and her associate Portia D'Amico, a corrupt detective, are unwittingly caught in a far-reaching conspiracy that forces them to consider every action and decision.
As the conspiracy unravels, Ally and "Osiris," a fellow Facilitator become involved in a plot to overthrow the increasingly tyrannical Rico dictatorship. If caught, they face the dictator's wrath and a legal battle. This could have devastating consequences not only for them but for the very future of the United Republic.
