The Perspective of the Cosmos - Humanity as a prisoner

There is a question that has accompanied humanity from the moment human beings first raised their eyes toward the sky: what is their place within the totality that surpasses them? The sight of the stars has always been more than the observation of distant lights. Within it lies humanity's deepest need to understand its own origin, position, and meaning. However, the way in which humanity approaches this question determines the limits of the answers it can reach.

Throughout its entire history, humanity has attempted to understand the Cosmos by starting from its own position. It has observed, explored, and created images of the whole to which it belongs, yet it has most often begun from itself as an observer standing apart from that which it seeks to understand. Such a direction of knowledge places humanity as the starting point, while the Cosmos becomes the object of investigation. The Perspective of the Cosmos begins from a different foundation. It does not begin with humanity looking toward the Cosmos, but with the Cosmos from which humanity emerged.

This work is founded upon a simple, yet fundamental ontological direction:

COSMOS → SOLAR SYSTEM → PLANET EARTH → HUMAN

This direction represents the foundation of the Perspective of the Cosmos. It does not view humanity as the beginning point for understanding the whole, but as a consequence of processes that preceded it. The Cosmos is the primary reality. The Solar System emerges within that reality. Planet Earth appears as a local structure within the Solar System, and the human being emerges as a life form created within the specific conditions enabled by that structure.
