"The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come" is a Christian allegory written by John Bunyan in 1678. It is one of the most significant works of theological fiction in English literature and one of the progenitors of the narrative aspect of Christian media. It tells about the fictional character who undertakes a symbolic trip from the "City of Destruction" to the "Celestial City." He meets people who either support or betray him during the journey and gets into numerous dangerous situations to test his limits and beliefs. This book is considered one of the greatest Christian works translated into 200 languages.
