The world ended on a Tuesday. Talen Voss was late for work.

But here's the thing about the shadows — they don't care how strong you are. They don't care about your level, your stats, or the flashy title the System handed you. Shadows belong to everyone and no one. And in a world where every monster, every desperate faction, and every armed survivor is fighting over the same scraps of power...

Being overlooked is the most dangerous weapon of all.

Talen isn't the strongest. He isn't the fastest. He didn't wake up with a legendary bloodline or a hidden overpowered ability that solves every problem. What he has is a System nobody understands, a progression path nobody has ever mapped, and the stubborn refusal to die in a world that's already written him off.

Every level earned through pain. Every skill unlocked through survival. Every victory clawed back from something that should have killed him three times over.
