"Vanda," he murmured.

"I'm not," she said, shifting her position slightly. "You have something I want." What she wanted was obvious, even in the darkness of his room.
Even though he complained about it, Raffe didn't push her away or otherwise reject her. He could always be depended on to take the right course of action in any situation. He allowed Vanda to climb on top of him. She reflected that he didn't know the true purpose of her being there and the deception she was running on him. If he had known it would have made things worse. As it was, the sex was rote and mechanical at best.
It wasn't the best sex Raffe had ever had, but it was good enough.
