The treatise "The School of the Sword of Six Movements" is a continuation of the previous work — "The Way of the Warrior of Spirit — Zen and Hesychasm" — and constitutes an integral and inseparable part of the Agni Kempo Royal Martial Art.
This work is written for the people of a new era, for modern knights and people of honor. In this School of the Sword, students are trained in the mastery of four blades: the samurai katana, the European sword and rapier, as well as the Cossack saber. The author reveals this art of the sword for Europeans as the highest form of mastery — mastery over oneself, circumstances, and life itself — where true victory lies not in the destruction of the opponent, but in the perfection of oneself as a warrior of spirit.
As is well known, the warriors of the West — above all, knights — primarily followed the path of developing technique, strength, endurance, and martial discipline. Orthodox warriors, beginning from the times of Byzantium and later Holy Rus, united the training of the swordsman with the Jesus Prayer, also known as the spiritual practice of Hesychasm. This School of the Sword harmoniously combines both of these sources of spiritual strength, uniting them into a single river of the harmony of life.
